REVIEW POLICY

We assess each and every game we review objectively with no bias and no preconceptions based on what we have read elsewhere. We are not influenced by developers, publishers, or anyone else and despite the fact that we communicate and deal with developers on a daily basis we do not allow our professional contact to affect our judgement on the products which you may be planning to purchase. We always attempt to be as subjective and honest as possible - both in the positive and negative sense when appropriate.

Scores by category
A score of 1-2 represents a game that is flawed in more than one area and has serious gameplay deficiencies

A score of 3-4 represents a game that could be enjoyable and containts some nice innovative features, but is deficient in key areas where gameplay is seriously affected.

A score of 5-6 represents a game that is enjoyable, engaging, interesting... Most games fall into this bracket, fun titles that don't really shine but offer some solid entertainment, especially for fans of the genre. There are problems here, but most gamers will enjoy the title on some level.

A score of 7-8 represents a game that is recommended for most gamers. It might have some minor flaws, or it may lack originality, but it's got great gameplay and it's well worth your time.

A score of 9-10 represents an exceptional game that we recommend without reservation. These are landmark titles that are generally in the running for Game of the Year.
