REDWOOD CITY & LOS ANGELES, CA - March 16, 2004 - Leading videogame publisher Konami Digital Entertainment - America (KDEA), a division of Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., and Vivendi Universal Games, Inc. (VU Games) today announced an exclusive distribution agreement in which VU Games will distribute Konami's widespread roster of PC games in the United States and Canada. The publishing and marketing efforts for the games covered by the agreement will continue to be performed by KDEA's Redwood City, CA office.

Scheduled for launch in Spring 2004, Konami's critically acclaimed soccer game World Soccer Winning Eleven 7 International(tm) will be the first title under the new agreement. Other Konami franchises distributed by VU Games include: Winning Eleven 7(tm), Frogger's Adventures: The Rescue(tm), Apocalyptica(tm), and Yu-Gi-Oh!(tm) Power of Chaos(tm): Kaiba The Revenge.
