"Xbox Live has undergone more than a few changes as of late, especially with the Tsunami upgrades allowing for tournaments and so forth and last night, through a post made on Xbox.com, it was revealed that today will see Microsoft upgrading Xbox Live. The upgrade will allow Xbox Live subscribers to receive alerts via MSN Messenger. The alerts will reportedly let players get the latest Xbox news, view lists of other gamertags on players lists, and will have an all-new Xbox tab alongside ones for shopping, games, news and other such things via the messenger."
